Travel to Monti, Discover a Fashionable Rome

For anyone who wants to travel to Rome, this quarter, which was once famous for its murky underworld, but now it is far more cultural, and authentically Roman. The quarter attracts the stylish and artistic bohemian culture as well. It contains a great deal to see and do, that people from around the world would travel to Monti for. In the city with something on each of its seven famous hills, there can be plenty to occupy a visitor. Named after the hill it resides on, the Monti quarter (Rione) of Rome offers a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops which are all off the tourist trail.
It has a very different feel to many other parts of Rome, from the working class neighbourhoods, to the trendy cafes, bars, vintage clothes shops, and galleries. To travel to the quarter would usually involve getting lost in its myriad of picturesque streets, amongst the streets lined with all these different shops and cafes.
The quarter also contains the famous Colosseum, the Ludus Magna, and many others, having once been a densely populated quarter during ancient times. Since being repopulated at the end of the 19th century, the place has seen a lot of change, and a slow surge of visitors willing to travel to it. It extends all the way from the suburbs to the very center of medieval Rome, so there is no need to travel very far to get to it.
