Author: Ruth Harding
If you are a movie buff perhaps you want to take your next vacation in one of the villas in Italy. So many memorable movies have been filmed in Italy that you can walk the streets and visit the buildings that featured in the movies.

The latest movies filmed in Tuscany include Certified Copy by Abbas Kiarostami (2010) that was shown at the Cannes Film Festival; Letter to Juliet by Gary Winick (2010); La Prima cosa Bella by Paolo Virzi (2010); and, L'uomo che verra by Giorgio Diritti (2009).
Of course, Tuscany has featured in many more movies over the years, and has also been the location of stories in many works of fiction. If you want to see in the flesh what you read about in books, there are always affordable villas in Tuscany and it's a wonderful place for a vacation, especially in the summer. Summer in Tuscany by Elizabeth Adler was set in a small Tuscan village.
If you just want to go somewhere different and have a relaxing holiday, then do it Tuscan style; spend the reading leisurely while you drink Italian wine and eat the local grapes and cheese. Add a fresh loaf of bread and you are set for the vacation.
