New York City can be an intimidating place to visit. I can almost picture myself standing on a street corner trying to read an unwieldy oversized map while the wind attempts to blow it from my hands. OK, that's a little overly dramatic, but you get the idea.
Having lived most of my life in or near urban areas, I can also imagine the excitement of exploring one of the world's most famous, energetic, and culturally diverse cities.
