Versace Designs Interiors of $5 million chopper
Filed in archive Luxury Travel on July 12, 2008

Always wanted to own a chopper to fly around? But couldn't find the right one because they were too "plain"?
Thought so.
Versace has come to your rescue. The fashion powerhouse has upholstered the interior of a chopper and the price tag is pocket change - a mere $5 million.

It takes over a year to produce one, and we hear that several have already been sold in Europe (where else?).
AgustaWestland wanted to collaborate with one of Italian's leading fashion houses to offer their clients a range of cabin interiors for its Choppers. Versace obliged. AgustaWestland is a branch of Finmeccanica (Italian defense and aerospace group). The two owners are Bruno Zago, an Italian businessman and Ion Tiriac.
The interiors are custom black and white with Versace's signature Medusa Heads.
