Terminal 2E Reopens in Paris

Terminal 2E was once one of the coolest looking airport concourse in the world. However, it's hipness couldn't keep it stable. When 4 people were killed during a collapse in 2004, the trendy terminal shut down. It took an expensive and highly scrutinized rebuilding effort to return the hub to working order. After 4 years, Terminal 2E is back in the spotlight. This time, things are better than before the fall. Charles De Gaulle Airport has its eyes on London Heathrow, its traditional nemesis. Heathrow's new terminal had a poor showing when it opened to canceled flights and baggage claim mishaps. Frankly, after the embarrassing roof collapse, there is nowhere for De Gaulle to go but up. That is, unless something else falls down.
Want to see 2E? Most flights from North America and Asia will come to rest as the terminals gates. The expansive and airy design is supposed to be quite spectacular.
