Tennis for Everyone's Budget

Tennis is a glamor sport. A sport where glamorous athletes are watched by an audience of (mostly) glamorous people. In order to get a decent seat at Wimbledon you have to be royalty or your great-grand parents had to have purchased a membership to the All England Club. Other tournaments are stamped with luxury brands like rolex and Mercedes.

Does that mean that Joe and Jane Traveler are relegated to Tennis's TV audience?

Not necessarily. In fact, traveling abroad provides a perfect opportunity to see some of the world's best racket wielders.

The ATP tour has tournaments around the globe. This week, Bangkok, Thailand plays host to greats like Carlos Moya, Tommy Haas, and US Open finalist Novak Djokovic. The cost to view a session at the tournament is around $20 US. A recent ATP event in Indianapolis was similarly priced. As is this week's WTA event, in Seoul, Korea.

Admittedly, Bangkok and Indianapolis are not Wimbledon. But the Tennis action is true, and your chance to catch many of the world's greatest players is good. And, if you have a trip planned anyways, what have you got to lose (besides $20)?
