Tasting Your Travels
Filed in archive Dining by Josh Lew on September 13, 2007

Some people travel while being guided by their minds. Perhaps those a little freer in spirit travel by guided by sheer intuition. Me? When I travel, my stomach is my guide. I thought I was the only one. I felt guilty. I was never (very) gluttonous; simply a seeker of different tastes.
I thought I was alone until I found noodlepie. Written by freelance journalist and new media guru Graham Holliday, the blog, in its previous incarnation, celebrated Sai Gon street food. Currently, Holliday is living in France and the blog gives some attention to the cafes and restaurants there.
Noodlepie still retains an extensive archive of articles relating virtually everything you'd ever want to know about Vietnamese
cuisine. I would consider it a must read for anyone who wants to travel to Sai Gon or, for that matter, anyone who wants to daydream about doing so. Be sure to peruse the archive section.
