Sightseeing in Sublime Seoul

Seoul, Korea is a place unfamiliar to many. It is a great place to visit, even though it's not quite as flashy as Tokyo or Hong Kong. There are all the trappings and events of a modern metropolis, but, unlike Tokyo, it is easy to find sights that are downright exotic. Koreans are quite proud of their culture, both the pop and traditional varieties.
Sites like the DMZ are easily reached from Seoul (if you like a little geopolitics with your vacation).
Seoul is actually an extremely easy place to visit. Hosting the Olympics 20 years ago and World Cup just recently have really served to streamline the tourism infrastructure.
