Visitors who've had their fill of Honest Abe can enjoy a stroll on the pleasant capital grounds or on the campus of the University of Illinois. The relative quiet of Springfield is a welcome change from hectic and smoggy Chicago. Still, this is Illinois, a land where good food is held in high regard.
