Resources for Frequent Travelers

Whenever the travel agency experiences a 'hiccup,' it is usually business travelers who suffer the most. Sure, it's an inconvenience when Joe Traveler has to stand in line in his many-holed socks at a security checkpoint while TSA throws out the shampoo and shaving cream he just bought. It's annoying when Jane Traveler's flight is delayed twice before being canceled. But Joe and Jane are simply on their way to visit grandma. Imagine the psychological damage if they had put up with the ups and (far more prevalent) downs modern air travel.
There are several good resources out there for frequent travelers and those who simply want to be informed about the above-mentioned ups and downs. In the industry of travel, information is always the first step to avoiding problems. Do you think an airline is going to let their passengers know that they are struggling financially or that their pilots are threatening a strike and the flight may be delayed or canceled?
business travel news
does a good job at keeping readers up to date on the latest headlines (be forewarned of the annoy pop-ups on their website). They've reported on a couple of relevant stories including the TSA's pre-screening program and some major alterations in flight schedules. Sometimes, the weather forecast plays a big role in travel plans.
Though you might not need to, it's always good to have some information I case you have to plan for the worst.
