Ho Chi Minh City is known as Sai Gon to locals and most visitors. It is one of the most atmospheric, energetic, and frustratingly crowded cities in Asia. The best way to learn about this city is by simply strolling around or taking a cruise on a motorcycle. Well, actually they are more like mopeds. Engines top out at 125cc, though most are less. However, the traffic does not lend itself to high speeds anyway. The slower you go, the easier it is to take everything in.
