Most Scenic Airports

For many, landing is the scariest part of a flight. It is also the best chance to see the landscape of a place. Experiencing a place from above it gives you an admittedly omnipotent feel, like you are above reality.

OK. I'm being a little dramatic. But watching a city from above is one of the greatest parts of air travel. Take this video of Hong Kong as an example. It was taken on the last flight into the now defunct Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong (Thus the cheesy "Hey Hey Goodbye" song).



Some airports, outside city limits, offer a more natural view. Narita is one of my favorite places to land.
