Martha's Vineyard - a Good Choice

When President Obama announced the choice of Martha's Vineyard back in July for a family vacation in August, many critics panned the choice. But Robert Reid begs to differ - and he has a list of 22 reasons why the Vineyard is a good vacation choice.
Reid is a travel editor for Lonely Planet. I wasn't completely aware of all there was to do on the island. The piece expanded my view of Martha's Vineyard.
The Obamas are on the island now. They arrived for their vacation on August 23.
