Jordan’s Eco-Tourism
Author: admin
When you think of eco-tourism, Jordan probably isn't the first place than comes to mind. But the waterfalls and canyons that grace the country, along with the Dead Sea it shares with Israel, are making Jordan a new eco-tourism destination…
The Associated Press ran a story recently on the rise of eco-tourism in Jordan.
The country has the Mujib gorge – which has the distinction of being the lowest elevation nature reserve in the world.
The fledgling eco-tourism industry brought in 66,000 visitors last year out of a almost 3.5 million visitors to the country. Jordan is hoping to see rewards from over 40 years efforts in the area of environmental conservation.

I found this guide that you can download to your mobile about Jordan which is really helpful. It lists all places in Amman and around cities. You will find cafes, restaurants, shops, airport numbers, bookshops, events and more. You will find a short review about the place, picture, contact number and map.
The guide is called Ijazza, you can download it on your mobile by entering http://www.ijazza.com on your java & GPRS enabled handset.
Hope you will enjoy using it as i did.
