Hip in Madrid

Hip in Madrid
Fuencarral Market is one of the most interesting places in Madrid. Part shopping venue, part performance center, there is something unique happening all the time. Though this is a trendy area, the prices are not bad if you are willing to spend some time looking around. Boutique clothing and accessory shops are mixed with hip cafes and music stores. This is a prime place for people watching.

DJs often spin at the large café in the center of the market.

Fuencarral Market is more of a party scene than a pure shopping experience.

Rastro Market is a large shopping extravaganza held on Sunday morning. This is a better place to find deals and purchase unique souvenirs.
