Foreign Tourists Allowed Back Into Tibet

Author: admin

Tibet will reopen to tourists on April 5th, according to the Associated Press.

Since last March Tibet has been closed to foreign tourists. The Chinese government was worried about political unrest. The number of visas available will be limited, but exactly how many tourists will be let back in is unclear at the moment.

It you can get past the politics of Tibetan tourism, Tibet offers some of the most fascinating history and culture on earth. And the landscapes and natural attractions are breathtaking.
