Finding the Best of Vancouver with Canada 411

Canada has many fair corners that a visitor can enjoy, but thanks to the 2010 Winter Olympics, Vancouver is a hotspot for tourists.

If you visit Vancouver there are a handful of things you simply must see. Metropolis at Metrotown is high on the list. It has 470 stores and it is British Columbia's largest shopping destination. It's open seven days a week, with shopping until 9pm Monday to Saturday.

Another great attraction is the Vancouver TheatreSports League. It presents "hilariously improvised" shows four nights each week. It's Vancouver's longest running and most popular show - running every Thursday through to Saturday nights.

Of course, you also have to ride one of the big buses or a trolley in the city. There's a zoo to see and a beautiful botanical garden in the city. You just have to visit the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. And the night life and dinner scene is incredible.
